finally up and runnin

hows it goin guys, i finally got internet at my new house so im back.
i dropped my engine in the 72 blazer a couple weeks ago and couldnt believe how close the intake and distributor came to the firewall. did you guys have similar concerns? any pictures are appreciated

Hei

Welcome and the HEI plug wire actually touches on mine. I have been running it like that about six months. I do believe it will start arcing across there at some point. Will try to post pictures tomorrow. moodyholler

ok at least now i know im not the only one. how bout high intake manifolds? ive got an air gap and i think im gonna have to put on one of those dinky wired edelbrock ones that are shaped like a triangle cuz im not only an inch from the hood, but also a couple inches from the firewall

I'm running a street dominator from holley(lt-1 copy) and a 1406 Edelbrock carb with no clearance issues.moodyholler

anyone have pics? i also have an additional spacer that goes between the filter and the throttle body so thats probly why im pushin it
