wipers-this can't be normal

In the process of completing the truck and now I'm fighting the windshield wipers. For some reason when you turn off the wipers it stops in the up position, no wiring was changed and I don't see where the linkage could be on wrong. Am I missing something here? Thanks, Mike

Did you remove the wiper arms? If so , Try removing them again and turn on the switch , turn off the switch and replace the wiper arms in the correct position.

Actually it wasn't the arms. After a cold beer and a second look. The arm that hooks to the motor was 180 out. Swapped around and everything is good now!

Hey brave dave Commonsense doesnt seem to apply always when it comes to trouble shooting anything to do with a vehicle. I was going to suggest checking his control arm to his wiper motor after he responded to my question. As for your mouse and pad , I dont think that you need me to tell you what to do with it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Canadianchevy72~ Your not the first person to ask that question. Mine had some little clip that I had to press in while lifting up on the wiper arm. Making that weird face helps. At any rate I asked the same question.
