Weekend Progress
Made some weekend progress, mounted the engine in the frame. BTW Duplicolor High Temp Rattle Can engine enamel is highly recommended, I can't believe how well the engine paint turned out.

I've been waiting a while to put that baby in, last night it was about 5:30pm and I decided to finally drop it in. After alot of horsing around and curses directed at the motor mounts I got it in.
Just a piece of advice, (maybe this is obvious) I'd bolt the towers to the motor mounts while it is out of the frame next-time, instead of feeling around and looking at and trying to align the bolt holes with a dental mirror. I only hope that the engine runs as well as it looks, it's my first try at rebuilding an engine. There are definately things I'd do differently next time. BTW the engine is actually chevy orange, it looks pretty red in the pictures. Next step, clean up the tranny, paint it and drop it in. Ron

Thanks guys, I mounted the tranny on the stand yesterday and drained the oil today. I'm going to try and get it cleaned and painted by the weekend.
Still trying to decide if I should replace the clutch. Ron
