Post valvecover holes stock

Have replaced my valvecovers and would like to know what the fourth hole is for. Their was a pair of holes in each cover. Both were used on the right side but only the front on the left cover. Left cover also had the engine decal. What was the rear hole for?

some aftermarket are like that, i would just put in a push in style breather or find a way to plug it, use it for oil fill hole or something.
