Just got me a 87 Crew Cab Dually last night that I'm going to be fixing up. Here's a pic of it

Gotta love them big blocks!

And I want it 3x more than that. That would be nice with a newer Cummins 24V HO Diesel.....

I've got an '86 CC 1tondually 2wd, Loaded, with a 454. It will pull a 40foot Gooseneck trailer with NO problem, milage sucks, but I didn't get it for mileage.

First thing is get another vehicle to drive in the winter, these trucks will rust if you look at them with teary eyes

Your truck looks really nice, you might want to see about getting it a little lower if you want. Try Western Chassis on a search engine. They have a lot of different height drops and they are a good product. Also look at

www.*****************

Any airbag suspension will ride better than the stock 1 ton suspension. Unloaded it rides like a .....welll......truck! Mine rides real nice with the 15,000 trailer on the back, but unloaded.......

Just enjoy your truck. By the way, it's hard to park, difficult to see the rear fenders(8 feet wide) has the turning radius of the Queen Mary, sucks gas like it's going out of style, but I love my Dually despite of the alleged faults

I like that color. Nice looking. I thought my 85 had a bad turing radius - just wait!

Big Red's just for pulling the Nova with to the races, and other odd jobs. Didn't really plan on it for a daily driver but I do like driving it. I've got a 72 C10 that I'm going to fix up for a daily driver. Also have a 95 GMC 4x4 that I'm going to be selling soon (1 too many trucks LOL).

Might look better lowered some, I'm going to wait until I get the new tires on it to see what it looks like. Just got done putting new 235/85's on the front (much taller) and getting ready to put the same size on the back to get a bit more tire dia on her. Still trying to find a used topper shell for it.
