vaccum guage?
To install a vaccum guage in the cab do I just tee it into a vac line some where? Can I tee into the on by the heater controls? Or is it better to tee in right by the intake?

You want to have a T right at the intake, or just its own port on the intake if you have a spare. I wouldnt jump off anything else for a few reasons. You want your gauge to read manifold vacuum and you want it to read all the time. Hooking off another line may not have vacuum all the time, idle, when cold, etc.

That sounds right. Should be pretty easy I would think. Seems alot of stuff is adjusted and calibrated by vaccum readings seems it would be good to have.

I agree I think a vacuum gauge would be a nice touch.
Its nice to have gauges like, a/f ratio, vacuum, fuel pressure mounted under the hood for tuning. Vacuum readings can tell you a lot about your engine. Do you have any info on this? With the MityVac Tool it comes with instructions that tells you what the different needle movements and readings mean. I could post them if you'd like. EDIT: I also recommend that you do NOT use the clear nylon hoses that come with these types of mechanical gauges. They are junk IMO. Spend the money (you get what you pay for, right Swervin?) and get a nice rubber hose or rubber hose with steel cover and not worry about it again.
