I am so pissed as Sylivainia. My headlights got condensation in them. I bought new sylvanias that are the mid grade ones below the siverstars. Already have condinsation in them.

I have SilverStars on my truck as well and I love them. I agree with Grim though, I already have condensation in mine also. Might have to give them a call and see if I can't get a new pair.

Nice tach but why didn't you mount it to the side pillar instead of on your dash.

temporary tach. i'm planning on replacing the dash and the interior trim. it was the cheapest autometer tach i could find that would work with my msd box.

I had the Cool Blue replacements and they were nice but a plug in one of the brights kept coming out and it finally got so much condensation it burned up. It was only $15 and looked to be just a hair less bright than the silverstars.

Didn't know that you had to have a special tach for a msd box. So were are you going to put it at when you get a new dash .

you dont HAVE to have a special tach for it. but the only nativly work with some. mostly autometers.

msd sales a tach adapter to hookup most any other tach you want.

i'm still deciding on what i want to do gauge wise. 3 choices:

stock mount autometers, like what mike did
sticking out autometers(like the ultra lites)
or dakota digital gauge cluster

i dont know yet, but i'm not having anything mounted on the dash

I like the stock-style mounting myself. Much cleaner look.
