Question Anyone Put a Reciver Hitch On a K20

I got a reciver hitch for my 83 K20. Have any of you fellas mounted one on your truck and kept the spare tire in place? Looks like to mount it I'll have to loose the spare tire. I have no instructions with this unit. I really want the spare tire to stay under the bed. Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Keith

Should bolt up without taking the spare mounting stuff off, drop the spare and take a look at it, if worse comes to worse, you can drill some holes in the reciever to mount the spare back up.

I should have mentioned the hitch sticks out past the bumper way too far with the tire installed. I had the spare off when fitting it, but had no luck. Was thinking I was looking at it wrong.

Thanks,
Keith
