I have one just laying around. Kinda beat up a little. I can mail you a pic when I get back to Austin. Yours if you pay shipping.

4x4s have a different carrier? never knew that. i have the mount for a bed mounted spare. for a wide bed. its not complete from the renderings i have seen. its just the part that bolts tot he side and bottom of the bed.

Wanted-spare tire carrier

The under bed carriers are the same. I used the one off my uncle's 85 2wd on my 78 K-10. Both of the hanging bolts and the nut are still available from GM.

Do you want a picture of the carrier? It needs a little "hammer" time. If not, it will go into the bulk trash pickup on the 12th.

I know someone that is still looking for a fender mount type for a K10.

What part of Austin are you in? I need one, and should be down there for the Heat Wave, if you don't mind holding on to it for a couple weeks.

If Dale Kite does not take it, I'll hang on it for you. I'll be at the Texas Heat wave if I'm not working on Saturday. Plan on doing the burnout contest.

Thanks, G. If Dale passes, I will take it off of your hands. I have the main piece, but nothing to hang it with.

Tire mount pics

Dale,
Here are the pics to the spare tire carrier. Just pay for shipping. I'm not sure on the costs. I would have to pay for a box or some kinda of wrapping for it. If you're interested let me know. I can take it to this shipping place and get a costs estimate.
Just keep in mind that it does need some "hammer time".
