intake interchange
well i just picked up a 90 chevy truck with a bad motor and am thinking of putting one of those impala lt1 engines i have for sale into it and was wondering if the tbi intake will work with those heads?thanks

The intake is different the LT1 has four bolts like a vortec You can buy a carburated Intake from Jim Pace Or Scoggy Dickey

does anyone make a tbi intake that would fit it,also if i went carb would the truck brackets fir the engine?i have heard of frame clearance problems also.

Yeah now that you say that i remeber i looked at a 92 the other day and they had to torch out a section of the boxed frame to clear the ac compressor.
Im not sure if anyone makes a tbi intake you could get an adaptor to go onto a 4bbl intake though. |

You can get the vortec style intake that fits tbi from your gm dealer, but they are quite expensive.
