Talking Hello from SC!

I have probaly posted on here a few times, but never took the time to say hello... I'm orginally from North Carolina and used to spend all my time and money on this truck. Well I was 16 then and decided to move to go to school. Ended up buying a new car to go back and forth to school and the truck ended up sitting longer and longer. Now 6 years later, it has gone to crap and I finally have the money to start working on her!!!! Great information here on the boards, great people as well! I painted her when I was 16, paint still holding up, but the rest...well, needs a lot of work

Howdy from normally soggy western Washington. Cool that you kept your first truck.

So, are you now a college graduate with an unlimited income and the kind of training that lets you take all the time off that you want? Congratulations! I wish I had my first vehicle. Your truck doesn't look bad enough to forget about it. All it lacks is "finishing up".....just like the majority of the trucks that the board members have, right folks?

Welcome to the board! You're over on the right coast; I'm in the "Heart of Arkansas"....says so on the water tanks!

Spartanburg SC actually, so not to far from you lock. Truck actually sits in NC, near the Hendersonville area. So I get to go up on the weekends and work. "Unlimited Income" hehehe I wish! Just a little closer than I was a few years back, thats all Ya know I started out taking Autobody classes, and decided that would be my back up. Now in the IT field, I'm thinking the back-up may become primary

Welcome to SC!!! I am in Lexington, SC on I-20 outside of Columbia. I know a guy that has roughly 10-15 parts trucks if you need any used stuff.

Welcome from Tampa Floirda, That is a great looking truck. THat is about the same color I want to paint my dream car 67 Chevelle SS. Marina blue. Anyway dont ever sell your truck. You will always regret it. The first car/truck is always special. I wish I still had mine and 84 Camaro Z28. There was member over on the blazer board that was looking for one and found his old blazer and he bought it one the spot. Some guys just get luck I guess.

Welcome

Welcome to the board! I just joined up about 3 weeks ago. This place is great and is packed with lots of information. I live in Anderson, Sc and I am a college student. Its is good to see that the SC board member population is growing!

Also if you know of anyone that is wanting to sell a fleetside short bed that is in decent condition, give me a PM. Also I need a GMC radiator support, mine is a 71. I am current in the process of finding more rust than I though I originally thought I had , but oh well its just part of it. Have a good one
