Need help adjusting float level on holley 600

When I open the inspection cover on the rear of the 600 gas pours out --- the front one is ok. Which direction do I turn the nut to lower the level until it's right at the hole but doesn't come out... Thanks for any info!

Float level adjustment

To lower the level of the float, use a large screwdriver to loosen the large head screw on top of the bowl, which is the needle & seat. Turn the nut underneath the screw clockwise, which threads it deeper into the bowl and lowers the float level. Once you've got it where you want it, tight the large screw again and you're ready to go!
