Top Slider Windows
Found this listing on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...707095779&rd=1
It would be nice to have the sliders, but that is a lot of $. Does anyone know if the sliders were aftermarket or dealer installed? I've seen pictures of a few trucks with them, but not many.

Uhhhhhhh That sure looks like a 76-91 window and not a 69-72. The wing window hardware is identical to the ones on my 79.

Yeah here.
http://www.coloradok5.com/topstorage.shtml That's a 90 in those pictures. That picture in the ebay shows the window upside down. That's 76 up factory for sure.

I think if our years had them they are aftermarket. Those look to be 73-80 windows.

On my 72 blazer my top has sliders in it. I think that the PO installed them at some point. I don't really care for them much. I'm in the middle of my rebuild now, when I get to working on the top I think I'm going to go back to flat glass.

Where can you get slider windows for our year blazers? I am driving mine now with no windows and no hatch- makes it alot cooler in the heat, but not as windy as with no top. I kinda like it!

Diane, I'm sure once you get the windows in, you'll reconsider taking the top off every summer!
1972_K5 - do yours look like the ones in the auction?

Sliders are aftermarket on our Blazers.
There was a co. here in Cali making them.I can't rember the name but I contacted them and asked about side sliders. The gentleman said "Ya we made em.We've discontinued them though.Lack of demand for them" He said there may be one of his dealers who may still have a pair and gave me the numbers of his Cali dealers.(about 10 of them). I called them all and no-one had any. So unless you want a custom pair made up,we're all S.O.L.

Bouncy- No mine are just 2 pieces of glass in an aluminum frame with a straight vertical aluminum bar in the center. If I remember correctly the front section of glass is fixed and the rear section slides forward. If I can get a battery for my camera I'll snap a pic for you this weekend.
Just got to thinking check my profile pic and you can kinda see them...But I'll get a detailed pic this weekend.
