Good progress this afternoon

Actually got the cab on today

Got a sliding glass window now - talkin' AC baby!

This pic kinda shows the lowrider status of it.

Thanks for all the compliments. I am very happy with the color, it really sparkles in the sun with the metallic in it.

The cherry picker is the body guy's fathers. He used to own a junk yard and the picker is made out of driveshafts. He has a whole barn that is framed out of driveshafts. I was looking at the picker last night and someone really knew how to weld!

Supposedly we should be hanging doors Monday, I sure hope so. All that needs to be done after that is spray the inside of the hood black and shoot a few more brackets in black. He will be putting the doors back together but if we get it assembled and that gets put off I'm grabbing my trailer and bringing my baby home where I can do the little stuff.

The engine really covers the firewall modifications up well. Plus there will be the heater box and brake stuff and steering column so I think in the end it will be barely noticeable.

Here's a better pic of the firewall.

Frenchblue72, it's still at the body shop for a few more days, but can't be too long now.
