Pics of Rust

Just thought i'd show you guy some pics of the lovely rust on the "steal" of a truck I got, I had to grind all but three of the bolts off to get the inner fenders off to. Takin those things out has to be the best modification I've ever done for working on the engine though.

OMG That is ugly. What exactly are you doing to the truck? I hope it's just a "parts" truck. If you are fixing this one you have your work "cut out" for you.... :p

Surprisngly the rest of the truck is in good shape, I think the box and front clip were replaced a few years ago, they're not the lovely stock sh*t brown color that the cab is underneath, and it's got a all the nice heavy 4by gear i wanted. and for 400 bucks for the truck i don't mind doin a lot of body work.
And i do got my work cut out for me but not how you think. Just gonna cut the whole cab right off there and throw a new one on my buddy has sittin in his shop.
Anybody been able to pull off a cab swap in a weekend before? we're alotting a few nights during the week to strip out the old cab and we're borrowing a crane truck for friday night and saturday so i'm hopin we can get it done when we both get the same weekend off.

I had to grow the sideburns for a movie I'm in, I'm supposed to be playin some guy named elvis. I never heard of him though, he must be kinda old or something.
Anyway, does anybody have a clue about the cab swap?

Man, I hope the rest of the truck is a little less rusty than those rockers, otherwise, it's going to fold in half!! Down here, that would deffinately be a parts truck. Then again, I've never seen one down here that rusty. Reminds me of Nova Scotia vehicles (I used to live there). At any rate, you've got more cajones than me. Good luck.

heres the original thread on the truck, I got the clutch fixed now, the adjustment nuts were completely to the wrong end of the rod under the truck.
