choke ?

What have you guys done who have installed Edelbrock intakes( or equivelant) for the choke. The truck starts fine without it and I put it away in the winter so it's not a major problem but It take a while to warm up and i either have to sit there keeping the revs up untill its ready to go or I have to do the "Brake/Gas Polka" for a few blocks.
Any suggestions ?

Steve

and by the way...Happy Birthday America

I have the Performer intake and the Model 1901 Q-Jet. I got the divorced choke that mounts in the intake and hooks to the carburetor. Sets when you kick the accelertor pedal and has always worked great.

Prior to that I had an Edelbrock 1405, with a manual choke. It was just hooked up with an aftermarket choke cable ass'y, like you can buy at NAPA, for example.
