how mount 700r4 to auto tranny x-member?

Do I need a rubber mount of some kind when connecting the 700r4 transmission to the auto xmember?

i have the very same question. how does one mount a 700r4 trans to the cross member? the way i have mine mounted at the moment it seems a little too close to the floor pan. this is with the stock trans mount on a 71 long bed.

Use the same stock mount as any 67-72 truck with auto trans. 700 still uses the same 2 bolt pattern that hold the mount on.
