On top of the cheap Glass I got a steering column yesterday also . My neighbor seen my scraggly & worn out column . He asked me to come over to his house & look at something . Unbeknownst to me it was a spare one he had stashed away for his 65 Gmc . He went with tilt so he didnt want this one . He asked if I wanted it & make an offer . I said I can only spend $20 since i had to get gas & tabs for the truck still .
He said sold ! I installed it in a couple hours & replaced the brake switch while it was out .
Today I repaired the tail lights & got them (finally) working again . Just cant get the dash lights to stay on .
I installed a new speedo cable I picked up from another member here.
Well , tires get put on my wheels monday & then going to the car wash for pressure washing for the sanding prep .
Nice to have the old truck running good again .

Man , I have new brakes all the way around . New Glass . I cleaned out the cab from being a parts storage so I can get it over to the tire shop . I myself cannot drive until the soonest January-25-2005 since I am revoked for traffic offenses a few years ago . I just want to ride in my truck DAM_IT!
The wife wont drive it because the seat isnt perfect right now , But it wont be either until I get a different one . Women Pi$$ me off .
