It's alive!! It moves!!

I finally got my Blazer to move under it's own power again. I have slowly been putting in a 700R4, and nothing has been going right. I got to fire it up and clean my garage floor, which is a minor victory in itself. I just took it around the block, but it shifts pretty firm. Perfect.

While it was up in the air, I put on a set of 18's that came off of the 82 Blazer I picked up. It is REALLY low now. I am 6'1, and the hood is a couple inches below my waist. I like the low part, but I don't think these wheels are really my style. I will try to get some pics this weekend, if I can remember to grab my camera here at work.

I need to hook up my tach dash and stereo, and this thing will be ready to cruise. Still leaning towards black primer for the rest of the year, as it will be cheap and look pretty decent. Definitely needs tunes, though.

I also took the big frame hitch off of my 87 last night. Big difference. Just need to paint it now....

Feels good to get things done huh? Stereos can be had for pretty cheap now. I built my system for less than $300.

I am just trying to get psyched up to get painting on the house. I hope I finish it this weekend, so I can play with my trucks instead of actually having to work on the house.

I have pretty much everything for the stereo already I just have to get around to putting it in. I am getting lazy in my old age.
