67-68 Suburban bucket seats - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I bought a 1968 Suburban in December. I have found the truck to be really complete,EXCEPT that bucket seats were gone.Big surprise.My problem is where to find a set of these rare birds, or at least a console.I have purchased a set of CST seats and wondered if someone has either a whole set of Suburban seats or just a console to sell? Good luck huh? Or if a member can shoot me a couple of pictures of the Suburban consolebox hinge so that I can try to modify the one that I have.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

John, I have a set I may sell if interested. I bought them a couple of years ago from another board member. I was going to use them in my panel but have changed plans. I have $500 in them and I'll take that if interested.

Thanks for the reply. Are the seats that you have the model used in the suburbans, or the type used in the pickup? The suburban type dont have the armrest on the console box like the fold down armrest on the pickups. Thanks, let me know if you have what I'm looking for.

John, yes these are the Suburban only seats, not the pickup seats.

Pretty hard to modify a 67-68 truck console into a sub console. Different rear heights and a different brackets to lift the top.
