I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3 liter Vortec engine. I believe one of the timing gears has slipped. The timing chain is intact, but the engine intermitently back fires thru the intake manifold and won't start. I am new to this type of repair and need help. I can get to the timing chain, but am unsure what the proper alignment should be. Can someone help me with the proper timing alignment for my engine?
