Mother... Thanks for the reply. I am going to look at a pair on Monday that are an hour away from me here in Michigan. So I will wait and see those first.

I am sure yours are near perfect if they have been ready for the chrome shop. By the way, this fella I am going to see on Monday has over 20 years of parts and a lot of Cameo stuff. If you need something you cannot find let me know before Monday and I will look for you. rico_bob

Rico, I have been looking for a Cameo trim item. It is the chrome bowtie that mounts in the high center of the tailgate on the 55-57 trucks. I am loking for a nice one. I have not seen these reproduced anywhere and very few can be found at my area swap meets (in good condition). could you take a look for me. Or do you know where to send me to find one. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
