87 Cab, 8ft Bed

Was at a local bone yard today and spotted a Sierra Cab w/doors and 8 ft bed that looked like they were from a new truck. Cab was kind of stripped out, taillights and tailgate were gone. Didn't inspect it completely.
Went in and asked about it. Prices were high. Asked if it was a southern truck and told it wasn't. . It was from near here. said truck was hardly ever driven but one of the few times out it hit something up front.
Doors, Cab, and bed looked in excellent shape. Bed was for dual tanks.
It's at L&W in Valparaiso, In. Don't know how much they would negotiate.
But unless I overlooked something (it's sitting in weeds), it's about as good as one is going to get.

It was either 600 for the bed and 800 for the cab or the other way around. The doors were 250 each. I was kind of in sticker shock mode when he gave the prices. Especially for the cab cause a lot of stuff was missing. I would think if someone went after all of it the prices would come down.
It was to rich for my pockets. But again, unless I overlooked stuff, It almost looked like a new truck.
I don't have a digital camera or I would go take pictures of it.
The place is L&W Auto Salvage. phone 219-462-2345
Maybe they have pictures.
