Angry 5.7 Miss

My 97 Chevy P.u. 5.7 Lt.has A Miss At Road Speed And Cant Figure It Out ..any Ideas??i've Replaced All Electronics And Fuel Parts ,,good Compression..

GOOD< name brand plug wires routed correctly? If they ain't ACDelco or better(Taylor,Jacobs) I don't put them on anymore, waste of time, you have to spend $50-75 for a good set. Brian

i have a 25 dollars set of autolites wires and i've never had a problem

try using di-electric grease on both ends of the wire plugs

also may have a fouled plug that isnt bad enuff to miss cept at higher rpms

Also could be a weak coil.
Isnt that an ODB2 system? It should be storing codes to help with diagnostics.

I wish that I had a "Miss" at highway speed, then I woudn't have to keep pestering my wife. :p

Sounds like plug wires.
