How do I recalibrate my speedometer

I have a TH350 transmission with an open diff 12bolt with 3:73 ratio gears. I don't know what size the speedo driven gear is, but the original speedometer in the truck is about 20MPH faster than what it should be.

You can change the gear in the tranny that the cable hooks up to

you should be able to take your speedo gear out, take it to a transmission shop, tell them what you posted here, and they should be able to take care of it for you easily
