check out these emblems!!!!

I bought these off Ebay about 3 months ago and they were in bad shape. all the paint had faded and when I got them I noticed that they were pitted. I was telling a friend of mine at work about them and I told him I was thinking of throwing them away . I only spent 15 dollars so I figured I wasnt much of a lost but he said let me have them for a little while and he would see what he could do with them . He brought them back to me yesterday . I couldnt believe that they were the same emblems ,,, and the best thing he didnt charge me a dime .

before anyone say anything about the 350 emblem ,,I know that not where they are suppose to be on a 71 model . They were there when I bought the truck back. Any ideas what I should put there so I can move them?

They are mounted below the front side light. Drill your holes 2.3 inches directlt below the screw holes for the marker light. At least that's the dimensions given in the assembly manual.

Then again, you'll also have to fix the current mounting holes. If you think they look good where they are, what's the harm?

It doesn`t bother me where they are.I always thought that`69/`70 location was a cleaner look than`71/`72.I vote leave`em.

I dont know what he did but he kept them about 2 months . I had almost forgot about having them. He did tell me it took him a long time making the paint set right in the letters. I have been told from other people that know that he is great at restoring emblems ,building models and drawing. I havent decided on the 350 emblem yet have to wait and see .

You could look into putting the "Super" emblems where the 350 emblems are. MIght cover up the holes already there for the 350 emblem.
