Coil springs or leaf springs

I noticed some of the 67-72 chevy P/U have leaf springs on the rear. Do these ride any better than coil springs.

I like my coils....besides, the coil springs and long trailing arms are the type of rear end set up used by NASCAR...

The coil spring set ups ride smoother and articulate more and easier then the leafs. The leafs are better for hauling.

I have leafs on my C-10 but in the "to do" list is either go to the trailing arm, or a 4-link rear suspensoin.

As Chevloray Says, The Trailing arm are what Nascar uses..
