Questions

I noticed that my truck (69 c10) has the ignition switch in the dash, rather than on the column, could this be due to the fact that it was a former three on the tree? I know that my 68 impala had a ignition switch on the dash, but my 69 imp had it on the column. Anyone care to fill me in? Considering that autozone only lists switches that are in the column.

Another thing is, I noticed that the SBC sits back pretty far, and its currently running short accesories on it, would it be wise to run long accesories or what? I think I read something about the i6 to v8 swap, that you had to move the mounts forward? Is that true? Any way to tell that it wasnt done?

Thanks
