swampbuck is almost done

Well I've almost got it done. Still need to wire it, put brakes lines in, exhaust and gas tank, plus still need to buy some seats. Tires will be last along with the roll cage.

Nice job, looks a bit different than when I saw it last
Like Bouncy asked...what tires are you using? What kind of seats?

Tires, tires, tires???? I 'm thinking about a couple different types. BFG mud ter, Dick cepek fcIIs or the Interco STS tires. size will be 35x12.5 on either15 or 16 inch rims though most likely 15 inch since my brother in law is giving me a set of stock rally rims.
Seats are a different story. If i can find that last bit of money I'll buy a set of Mastercraft seats, But I'm thinking of seeing if (dare I say) Mustang GT seats. The latter will probably curse the truck (and I even work for the blue oval)

Looks sharp! Is that black or dark blue? It is so hard to tell in pictures sometimes. S10 seats are easy to come by, and the passenger seat slides forward. And they both recline. What ever you use, check your comfortable height before fabricating mounts.

Thanks for the advise on the seats, I'll have to look into that. The color is a dark black cherry but when the sun hits it just right you will see the blue metallic.(I mixed 1 part red to 4parts met midnightblue to create my own color) Yes the grill and hood emblem are new. My advise to anyone with a good old original grill is to save it and use it. The one I got was from GM but it is soft as butter. I'm sure the first fly that hits it will dent the grill. Thanks for all the good words.

Looks great swampbuck! I might have to roll down to Carleton to check it out in person whenever it's ready. You going to Woodward at all this year?

I'm sad to say that I've never been to the dream cruise. Never had anything to take that would belong there if you know what I mean. Maybe next year.
