saggy leaf springs
my leaf springs are sagging my exhaust guy said he could take them all off and have them re-arced and that would be like 150 a spring plus like 100 labor! is there a cheaper way to fix them? the worst one is about 1"-1.5" so i can like with it but i would like to fix it. are they hard to take off? i am not much of a mechanic so i hope they are easy.. my pickup is a long bed 85 silverado 4x4. any ideas?

350? I think you could get some new ones for that. If at the very least some spring helpers.

http://www.partsamerica.com/SelectPa...=Helper+Spring
It is a leaf that is added, it will rasie the level of the truck up 1-1.5 inches. It rides a little stiffer but it will rasie it up. Its a small "band-aid" to getting new leafsprings.

Call a spring shop & see how much they charge to re-arch them if you bring them in.
