basically like putting a square peg in a round hole. length, diameter, spline count, bearing journal & manufacturer are all different.

Are you wanting to swap axles or do you want to swap in the whole differential?

Swaping the 10 bolt axles into the 12 bolt rear end wont work, but if you are looking at swapping the whole housing assembly in, you should be able to do it if both rear ends have the same spring arrangements.

What I am saying is the whole housings assemblies can be swapped but none of the internals.
