Whats the best shocks for a 72?
ive got a 72 K5 with 32 inch BFG all terrains and the shocks are shot...what are the best ones for me?

I like rancho shocks espcially the ones with the adjustable knob that changes the pressure inside the shock. rs9000 is the model.

Well what do you do with your K5? I would say if you do alot of wheelin that RS9000's would be a good choice. if your a Half and Half the Doestech shocks are a very good choice I have had both styles over the yrs. and you can't go wrong with either one the RS9000's will be more $ though. Just my .02

I've heard the lower model Ranchos (5000's?) can be a rough ride. My '69 has old Doestech shocks a bouncy ride - probably more related to the lift than the shocks.
