Picture posting question

I have some pictures I want to post but I get a message saying my pic is too large. How can I resize to the required size? I can post pictures that I take with my digital camera ok, but the pictures that Walmart puts on a disk for me seem to bet the problem. Thanks

Depending on the software you are using to view the pictures (Microsoft Photo Editor, Image Expert, etc...) there should be an option that goes...Image, then Resize, then inches or Pixels, then just resize it to a smaller size that meets the requirements.

For uploading pics directly to the Board using "Manage Attachments" you need to be able to edit not only the image size, 642 pixels wide is the limit, but the overall file size, where 100k is the limit. I use the pic below to remind me of the correct numbers.

If you upload them to a web page, then link to them by using "Insert Image" then the pics don't need to be edited. (Unless the web site requires it)

If you still have problems with your editing software, you could send them to Hawaiianj@mindspring.com and I can adjust them for you.
