Thumbs up What a weekend! check out the pics

The first pic is what it looked like Saturday morning. The last pic is what it looked like Sunday afternoon. Got a few things done. Thanks for the help Jamie72, Blazergal, Huck, and non board member Jim. We haven't put the doors on yet but all the measurements look real good. Can't wait to put the rest of the body on so I can take it apart for paint.

This is where it all began a few months ago!

MAN be carefull when you start welding the rockers back. I ave a 75 that was rotten and I had to replace everythign from the tunnel out and I goofed up and got it off . The passengerside is leaned forward a little and the top doesn't line up great and the gap is a little wide on the door. Tou need to find a solid one and get some measurments and make sure that fire wall is square to the bed or you will have problems.

Thanks for all the compliments.
donkey69, I'm thinkin' a nice bright yellow, but who knows, I've still got plenty of time to change my mind.
Grim Reaper, Don't worry, I'm takin' a ton of precautions. Its basically being put totally together before any welding gets done.
jamie72, Probably not, hehe, I could take yours out for awhile though, haha.

Looking good...
Here's a link to some pics of a yellow one that I took, may help on deciding that yellow is the color you want. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=111686
Can you give me some info on your tow bar, and maybe a close up pic of the frame attaching end?
Length of side bars and size? Looks a little shorter than the one on another post that I had seen, any problems pulling / turning with the current length?

A few 72's, Thanks for the pics, that is awesome, exactly the color I want. I don't have any info. on the tow bar. It not mine, its jamie72s. I have it bolted to the end of the frame in existing holes. It didn't tow very well at all and that was just moving it around the yard. The front end is probably towed out too much not allowing it tow turn. I had a friend the blazer steering it while I towed it, looked pretty silly. Thanks again for the pics.

This is how mine looked for about 20 minutes tonight. The top fits perfect. Now it is all coming apart again to get the body panels finished up then I will put everything back on. I just wanted to make sure the top would fit before I wasted any more time on it.
