are 10 bolt and 12 bolt drums the same?
anybody know if the drums on 10 and 12 bolt rearends are interchangable?

as far as i know, yes they are..... axle wise. now the fittings MAY be different.
but what do i know haha |

Axle size has nothing to do with the drum size. It's according to what code you have, such as JB1, JB3, JB5, JB6, etc. There are two sizes on C10's. 11 x 2 and 11.15 x 2.75.

I swapped them on my K10, no problems. I also swapped all the other hardware too, make sure your brake shoes and drums match.

I'll third that info, I'm in the middle of switching brakes from my 86 C10 to my 76 C10 frame, 10 bolt to 12 bolt. Everything bolts right up.
