Quick Question
IF A PERSON WERE TO GET AN EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLED, AND THEY HAD TO PAY TO GET IT DONE. WHAT IS A FAIR PRICE? THE PRICE I AM LOOKING FOR ALSO INCLUDES THE PIPES. SO BASICALLY, HOW MUCH FOR THE PIPES, AND LABOR TO INSTALL?

There are all kinds of factors that can change the price of an exhaust system. Single or dual, from headers or stock manifold, crossover pipe or not, 2. 2.25 or 2.5, what kind of mufflers, regular or aluminized or stainless tubing, tips, is it a kit, or will the tubing have to be bent? I've seen them run from $50 for a single 2 inch to over $600 for a custom dual 3 inch stainless system. You need to be more specific on what kind of exhaust you're looking for.

The Guy That Might Do It, Is Doing It At His House, I Know They Are 2.5, Dual, But I Don't Know The Brand, He Wants To Charge Me $250, What Kinds Of Questions Should I Ask Him? Obviously What Brand, Whether Or Not It's Regular Or Aluminized Or Stainless Tubing And What Kind Of Muffler. Is There Anything Else I Should Ask Or Check About?

250 sounds like a deal to me, ask him what type of tubing it is, if he is willing to put a crossover in (if you're interested in an H or an X pipe, both of which stabalize the exhaust, and produce a bit more torque while mellowing out the exhaust tone a bit), and also if he will install it cheaper if you provide mufflers (then you know what you are getting)

I'm sure I didn't get the best materials in the world, but I got a dual setup (replacing old duals) from the manifolds back with Cherry Bomb glasspacks and some decent looking chrome tips for $160 back in November. I don't have any X or H pipes or anything, just straight back from the exhaust manifolds to the glass packs, and back out behind the rear wheels with chrome tips. It ain't fancy, but it works and sounds decent.

See and I'm kinda of a different school of thinking. When i dual out ol red im gonna use stock style exits out the side. I've seen dual exhaust on billions of different pickups and i just like stock exits better.
