shouldnt the '70 have a long pump?
is it easier to find stuff for the long?
I am curious as I also am getting ready for a BB & need brackets & pulleys for mine.
also wondering if you are going to keep the TH350 behind the BB. will it hold up?

I'm useing 72 mounts and the short pump. I have all the brackets for AC, PS ect. I just don’t have the pulleys. My Tranny guys says the TH350 he built will hold (we'll have to see on that one) I'm hoping it will. This isn’t a BIG HP motor I just want to have a little fun smokin tires.

I have a TH350 behind my 454, and have had no problems at all. It does have upgraded clutch packs and a shift kit.

Post on the parts board. I bought every single trinket for my big block swap on there.

Yes. short pump is right for these trucks up through 72.
