Exclamation OT: but in need of help Please!!

I was trying to help my dad fix up an old car of his to sell and had removed the power steering pump in hopes of getting a new one. I had no idea of what I would need off of the original one so took the whole pump in to town with me. And with my bad luck I lost it out of the back of my truck I have no tailgate and I thought it would "ride" and again to my bad luck I can not find anyone who carries the bracket?? whats up with this. I am willing to do anything!! is there any type of "interchange" that I can do? like is there any other model that will fit? I have a new pump all I need is the brackets, and pulley.
Where can I get the brackets and pulley?
Is there anything that will interchange?

it is a 1983 Buick Lesabre Estate wagon 5.0 307
I was told that interchange was '80 throught '85?

HELP PLEASE

Any Olds Cutlass, or any other Oldsmobile of the same yerars with a 307 will interchange. Some Caprice wagons also had the Olds 307, go to a junkyard and look for one of those cars.

Any 79-86 307,305 or 350 with the same options ( a/c,p/s etc ) should work off any G.M. car or light duty truck and maybe van. Check the junkyards.

Daum, I feel for you. Did you try re-tracing the path you took. It may have bounced off the side of the road or something, but it has to be there.

The brackets off the Olds probably wont swap with a 305 or 350 Chevy. I know the alternator and other brackets are way different at least. The power steering bracket on the pump itself may be similar but I would check before I bought one for a Chevy.

Yeah I have retraced and retraced and done it again, the road crew came and mowed two days after it happened and after they made their rounds I stopped them and asked them and thye hadn't seen it at all. So all I can figure is that it was in the road and someone picked it up, stupid f%$ckers......anyways I am really upset and when I was down visiting my Grandpa today I sold it!! whoo hoo (I didn't have it with me at the time but.) so when I go deliver it I can pick up my boat. So I want to get it done quick.
