Need 4X4 ball joint advice/help

I think my 72 k-5 has a bad upper ball joint on the pass. side. Grabbing the top and bottom of the tire I can wiggle it a little in and out. While it was jacked up about 1" off the ground I put a bar under the wheels and pried upward on each wheel, there was a little up and down movement in the lower joints. (both driver and passenger side). Does this mean they're bad also? OK, if I try to replace these myself do I have to remove the whole hub assembly and axle or can these be replaced whithout taking everything apart?

The whole knuckle has to be removed from the axle and then they can be pressed out
