Timing Help Please!
It says in my Manual to disengage the timing connector that is conduit next to the distributor I looked for it under my hood i cant find it and in the maual it does not show any pics at all so could anyone show me a pic where it is or tell me what it looks like please.

It is a 1 wire connector piggybacked on the large wire loom that goes into the circuit box mounted on the firewall. Right next to where the A/C lines go through into the cab. Directly above the passenger side valve cover.

Thats for a Pre 95 5.7L 350. Body style should not matter.

Well i found it and un pluged it set it to 0 degress before top dead center is that right then i turned it off and pluged thathing back in is that how you do it .

Yes ,but it sets a trouble code when you do this. Electronic spark timing trouble codes in the memory alter the timing until cleared. Clear the trouble code from the computers memory.
