Tire Question
What is the metric size of a 10.5-15 tire. This is what my 78 K-10 has on the option sheet.
Thanks Doug |

I am guessing this is a 31 X 10.5 tire...
Multiply the 10.5 by 2.54, giving you the tread width in centimeters (26.67 cm). If it is 31 inches in diameter, subtract 15 and then divide by two. This gives you the tire sidewall height (in this case 8"). 8 inches divided by 10.5 inches gives you an aspect ratio of about 76% (so it is most likely 75%). This would be close to a 265/75-15, but is more likely a 31X10.5-15.

Why not just buy a set of Flotation series tires? Then your tire size would be correct for your option sheet My truck also had the 31x10.5" tire option.
