So... Lets make it a little more useful.

What do you use to wash your truck? I use duragloss products all around, I get them for free.

that was my "nice" way of saying the same thing with my first reply :p then again spouting random junk from time to time never hurt anyone

so lets hijack the thread and discuss the bathing practices we use for our trucks, as destructo suggested. I would join in, but if I wash the 77 the paint would come off

i washed and waxed ol red yesterday. i detailed the interior first, as in fine detail, then washed it one body panel at a time as to prevent water marks, then i waxed it with that colored turtle wax. ol red is lacking in paint in a lot of places, but where there is still a little paint it shines, and wherever paint was still generous it looks great. i've only been driving since april, but i just love the feeling of a clean, waxed vehicle.

What kind of wax is that? Haven't bought wax in awhile. Is it new? Never heard of "colored" wax.

Turtle Wax Color Cure.
me and my dad bought it like last october or november when he switched jobs and he wanted Ol Red to be shiny until he got a company pickup. It worked good as long as you follow the direction "DO NOT USE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT" the stuff cooks very easily. the first time we used it we glooped it on, since his father's motto always was "the bigger the blob the better the job", but when i waxed ol red friday all i used was relatively little and it shined up OK, maybe not as good as Glooping.
Some tips:
DO NOT USE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT lol it says it on the box and they mean it.
Apply in small sections, like half the hood, or a fender at a time; if it dries more than a few minutes it leaves squirrlies
The ChipStick is a waste of space.
Unless you like red -or whatever color wax it is- hands then wear gloves or have industrial space age cleaner handy; i still have the junk on my hands.
