Thumbs up Hot August Night's in Beaumont, Texas

It was a great car show. They had a little over 350 autos there for three days. Here is a few pics of some of our board members trucks. Great job on thier trucks. Hope that mine looks at least half as good as these units.

Talking More trucks

This is STP's and his crew. Steve and his wife Susan are some of the nicest people I have met on this board so far.

Good looking bunch of trucks. I had no idea that Beaumont hosted a Hot August nights show. I would love to have made the trip....

Trucks

Thanks for the complements and it was nice talking to you and your wife also. Thanks for all of the pics. of the trucks. I have sold new and used parts to all of the guys except the burb and burgandy 67. I built my 68 stepside to sell, but have been enjoying it. I think i might have it sold from today,i am not quite ready to sell it. I would like to do super chevy, goodguys and auto rama. But everthing is for sale. I helped my buddy on the little red truck with fantom grille. The dark blue 68 chevy fleetside i bought from the original owner with 83000 miles and original paint. Probably nicest body out there. My freind and customer that i am building the 71 geen gmc you saw last week, bought it for his boy 3-4 years ago. The blue 72 stepside i built and sold about 4-5 years ago. Way to cheap!!! The silver 67 fleet i did most of the work on cab and front clip. Rockers, floorboards, driprails and painted inside and under hood. It was his grandfathers truck.

I should have posted it a couple weeks ago, but did not think about it.I figured that you and the burb guy, blazer guy and the two tone with flames from spring area would have been there.
Inspector thanks again for the pics.
Call and leave your phone number this week.
Thanks Steve

Yeah post em if ya got em. I have been out of the loop for a while so I don't know what's what these days as far as shows go.

I guess the next worthy run is Longhorns run at Old Town Spring. I'm not sure If I will go there again this year or to the Texas Ski Ranch for the Truckin show....
