Is This A Van OR Truck Tilt???

I found an auto tranny tilt in a 1970 Chevy truck today, but can't remember the difference in length of shaft and location of wiring connector.

Can anyone tell from the pics if this is van or truck tilt wheel??? You can notice in the second pic that the connector is down by the gasket and firewall boss.

Thanks, Don

That is a truck tilt. Van tilts I have seen have a longer splined shaft. That also has the correct rubber firewall grommet and the neuteral safety / backup switch is mounted low.

No, I didn't buy it yet. I took it out of the truck and hid it in a #ord away from the Chevy area. I took the pics to make sure here before I go back Wednesday and buy what the guy thinks is a van tilt. $75.00

Look at that sticker above the neutral safty.. thats the part number sticker they put on the columns also. You can post the number here if you like,.... but its an automatic truck tilt anyway just to let you know.
