Med Olive Green.

I've desided its time for me to repaint my 71 GMC. Its still in good original shape and I would like to keep it as original as possible, which Is why Im thinking of going with original med olive color, but I haven't seen what a truck actually looks like in a fresh med olive. Every pic I've seen of that color is faded to a dull almost gray color. I've been getting alot of grief about my paint since I've owned it, and I've been stating that the paint isn't ugly its just faded.

Anyway, If Im going to paint it med olive (plus the optional white pinstripe) Id first like to see what the color is suppose to look like. The interior paint is still in good shape, and if the interior is the same as the exterior color, then I think its a pretty cool color. What I would like is some pics of a truck done in Med Olive. Id prefer a GMC truck, but anything will do. Id post this in the picture forum, but I'd like some feedback as well.

Thanks

Not a whole truck, but fresh med olive paint.... I changed my mind 10 times about the color I was going with, finally decided on the original green. Glad I did, it's a great color especially with some shine!

Here a couple of my green one. I wasn't a huge green fan to start with, but this was the original color. It really looks good all shiny with clear on it.

Why doesnt my green look like that? I cant believe its the same color! Thank you all very much. I knew that color would be sweet when fresh.

MrGoodpliers, your truck is awsome. I cant wait to see it when its done. Just make sure you keep it in the shade, or thirty years from now the paint will faid and the ladies will laugh at it. Trust me.
