Tilt: Difference between Van or PU?
 I have decided to build a short bed big block truck, using my ole 1972 GMC Super Custom burb. I have a nice clean '69 short step body. I am going to dismantle the parts I need off the burb, clone them on to the '69. But that is another story. What is the difference between a van tilt and a pu tilt? I have a buddy who has a half a dozen tilts for these trucks (67-72), but there might be some van tilts in there also. Any help?

If You Can Get Any O.e.m. 67-72 Chevy Truck Tilt's Get Them.....
there Gold.... The Difference!!!!!!!!!! Stock Truck Tilt...... Is Shorter..... The Reverse/back Up/neutrial Switch Is Right Next To The Fire Wall.. Van Tilt..... Is Longer...... The Switch Is Higher On The Colium..... And Will Not Fit...in Your Truck's....must Be Moved.... Any Colium With The Key On It Is For 73-87 Truck's....... Thanks guys for your info. You would not beleive this guy who has them. I have known this fellow for years, but never talked about 67-72 trucks with him. Out of the blue I see him again, and we talk about trucks, and he invites me out to his place in the sticks this afternoon. WOW! This guy has to have 2 dozen trucks, Chevy's and GMC's, of every model design! I saw short beds a lot of long beds and a barn full of parts. I was going to get out of building these trucks for my kid'os and grand kid'os, but with this gold mine of parts, I see a least 3 projects! I have two grand kids that are about to get their DL's, and a 11 yr old that loves old Chevy trucks. My buddy has proposed an offer that I really can't refuse. He wants to sell them all in a package deal. I am NOT a dealer in these, just like to build them. When I can, and can figure how to do it on this site, I will post some pic's. You just won't believe it. And to those of you that have been talking about the scumb-bag (Jim) from Lone Oak, Texas, BEWARE! My son has had a long standing battle with this guy over the last two months on parts that were traded for and bought. This idiot is on his own VERY SLOW time table.
