Wtb D44 4:56 Gears

They don't need to be in good condition, a few chips is not a big deal.

Here are pics of my front axle I think it is a D44, It has 4:56 gears and they are in pretty good shape. Let me know how to tell if its a d44 or GM. I am still learning about all that.

found a set for free out of a old closed knuckel w/ drums. I never took the time to look, but would axles out of this late '67 or so fit into a late '70's d44 w/ drums?

Check here for good price on gears: www.completeoffroad.com. I got 4:56 gears for D44 for $99. However, that was an Ebay item from this vendor. I beleive it's normally $119. Still a good deal.
