Here are pictures of tow hooks that are correct for 69-72. There is another style of hook that was 72 only (?) that had a much more pronounced bend.

72 tow hooks
I believe these are the 72 only hooks. They have a much more exaggerated curve to them.

And they both curve in the same direction unlike the other ones.

Are the '72 only hooks any more "rare" than the other hooks?

72 only hooks
I would guess they are, seeing as they were only available for one year.
Also from reading other posts and seeing the different hooks that have come up for sale, the 72 only hooks are few & far between. |

Stupid me.....I went out to the garage to look at the hooks I have and see that they are the '72 only style....all along I thought I had 69-72 hooks .....cool

They will fit on the older ones though. Same bolt spacing on frame.
