door hinge,s 59 chev truck...Help please
HI,i am told that the door hinges on a 59 chev truck are different top and bottom,is there a way to tell the top from bottom? my truck came striped so i have not got a clue, any help please,

Top hinge has a spring , bottom doesn't. same hinges for both sides

No the top hinge one bolt fastens thru the hinge to a captured nut on the outside of the cowl whereas the bottom hinge fastens thru the cowl into a captured nut on the hinge.
