big block acesory brakets

im thinking that something has to be wrong, on my 88 acesory brakets, i just broke my 2nd one, its the powersteering/alternator/idler arm braket, the first one broke on the lower mount, and then this one broke on the L that goes behind the power steering pump to the block and twisted the rest of the braket to the point that it broke, has anyone had this problem or know of what i might be doing wrong? thanks
